New York Mets Fan in Critical Condition after Falling from Escalator at Shea Stadium

A 26-year-old New York Mets fan remains in critical condition after he fell 25 feet from the handrails of an escalator at Shea Stadium on Saturday.

The man was knocked unconscious after falling from the box-seat level to a floor near Gate D and was rushed to a hospital where he was listed in critical condition.

Just four months ago a 36-year-old man fell to his death after toppling over a handrail on an escalator at Shea Stadium.

The 26-year-old man is expected to survive.
