Bodies of 3 Babies Found at Netherlands Home

Dutch authorities have arrested a 41-year-old woman after the bodies of three babies were found buried at her home in the Netherlands. The first baby was found on August 27. A search of the woman’s garden on Wednesday uncovered the bodies of two other babies.

The Justice Department says forensic tests will be performed to determine how and when the babies died. The woman’s home is located in Geleen, a village about 124 miles southeast of Amsterdam.

This is the second case in less than a month in which Dutch authorities have found multiple corpses’ of babies. On August 6 a woman was arrested in the village of Nij Beets after the bodies of four babies were found in four suitcases in her attic. Police believe the woman gave birth to and killed the babies over a span of 8 years.
