July 28th is the birthday of Beatrix Potter and Jacqueline “Jackie” Kennedy Onassis. Potter, the author of Peter Rabbit, was born in 1866 and died in 1943. Kennedy Onassis, the first lady of slain President John F. Kennedy, was born in 1929 and died in 1994.
