Kia Motors Issues Recall for Soul and Sorento Cars

Kia Motors announced Friday a recall of more than 56,000 Soul and Sorento vehicles sold in the United States and South Korea. The carmaker, an affiliate of Hyundai Motor Company, said defective wiring harnesses in the interior front and rear trim panels could cause fires.

The recall includes 2010 and 2011 Kia Soul and Kia Sorento models manufactured between September 2009 and July 2010. Kia will replace the wiring harnesses.
