Barack Obama Said to be Leaning Toward Virginia Gov. Tim Kaine for VP

Presumptive Democratic presidential nominee Barack Obama is said to be favoring Virginia Gov. Tim Kaine as his vice presidential running mate in the upcoming election.

According to The Washington Post, Kaine has had serious conversations with Obama and has submitted requested documents to his campaign.

While Kaine is considered a Washington outsider and fits in well with the campaign’s theme of “change” he offers little help in the area of foreign policy, something Obama has been trying to establish inside his campaign.
