Reggie Bush to Lose Heisman

NFL Running Back to Make History

According to multiple recent reports, Reggie Bush could soon be the first person ever to have his Heisman Trophy taken from him. According to Yahoo Sports, sources with knowledge of the situation have said that the Heisman Trophy Trust is expected to strip the former USC college football star of his 2005 Trophy by the end of September. If that turns out to be true, then Bush will be the first player in the 75-year history of the award to have his taken away. The NCAA has already determined that Bush received improper benefits during his college years, and the Trust is expected to make that same determination soon. It was reported previously that USC was attempting to erase all memories of Bush from the history of the school, even going so far as to eliminate any traces of the former AP Player of the Year. And now, with his actual Heisman Trophy on the line, it seems that Bush is being erased from college football history in a very real and unfortunate way. (Sources: ESPN.com, Yahoo Sports)

Reggie Bush, despite all the controversy that has recently tarnished his amazing college football career, is nonetheless a very talented and accomplished football player. During his college years, he won the Doak Walker Award, the Walter Camp Award, an AP Player of the Year title, and of course the Heisman. As an NFL player, he has helped to bring joy to the city of New Orleans by winning Super Bowl XLIV in 2010 with the Saints.

Fortunately for Reggie Bush fans, Hollywood Collectibles offers an amazing selection of autographed Reggie Bush memorabilia, including autographed photos, signed jerseys, autographed helmets, collectible football cards, and much more.
