Los Angeles Authorities Investigate Bomb Threat on Flight From Bangkok

Los Angeles authorities are investigating a bomb threat written on a plane lavatory mirror on a Thai Airways flight. The message indicated that there was a bomb on board Flight 794, which arrived at the Los Angeles International Airport from Bangkok around 12 a.m. Wednesday.

The plane landed safely and was taken to a remote area where bomb technicians combed the aircraft for an explosive device. Laura Eimiller of the FBI said authorities “found no evidence to suggest a credible threat to the aircraft existed.”

Investigators interviewed passengers and crew members, but did not make any arrests.
