Alexander Solzhenitsyn, Russian Author of The Gulag Archipelago, Dies at 89

Nobel laureate Alexander Solzhenitsyn, Russian author of classic pieces as The Gulag Archipelago, One Day in the Life of Ivan Denisovich and The Cancer Ward, has died at the age of 89. There have been conflicting reports on the cause of death, with heart failure and stroke being blamed.
