Mary-Kate Olsen Wants Immunity to Speak on Heath Ledger Death

Mary-Kate Olsen refused to answer questions from federal authorities on Monday about the accidental overdose of Heath Ledger until she receives immunity.

Olsen, one of the famed Olsen Twins, was a close friend of Ledger's and the first person called after her masseuse discovered Ledger's body in his Manhattan apartment in January.

According to reports, Olsen, 22, called her bodyguards instead of the authorities when she received the news of Ledger's death. Her bodyguards arrived at the scene just as the paramedics got there.

Ledger, whose performance as the "Joker" in the blockbuster "The Dark Knight" has received early Oscar talk, died of an accidental drug overdose, according to medical examiners. Ledger took a deadly combination of prescription drugs and the pain reliever OxyContin, which was allegedly received illegally.

Olsen and her sister Ashley have built a multimillion dollar empire since their famous role as Michelle Tanner on "Full House" as child actresses.
