John Gotti Jr. Arrested on Murder Charges, Racketeering Charges Expected

John “Junior” Gotti, son of the late Gambino family boss John Gotti, has been arrested and is facing charges that tie him to three murders committed in New York in the late 1980s and early 1990s.

The 44-year-old Gotti was arrested by FBI agents at his Long Island home and is expected to appear in a Manhattan federal court on Tuesday where he will likely face a racketeering indictment in addition to murder conspiracy charges.

Gotti was sentenced to 77 months in prison in 1999 after pleading guilty to racketeering charges and was released in 2005.
