Fixer, Alternative Rock Band Talks About Their Music and Life on the Road in YourFindit Interview

New York based rock band, Fixer, spoke with Rebecca Firth in an exclusive YourFindit interview to talk about their music and life on the road touring the east coast circuit.  Made up of Evan Saffer (vocals), Tommy Zamp (guitar), J Brown (bass) and Rev Swank (drums), Fixer spends most of their time touring throughout the east coast as well as some select Midwest locations.

Formed about seven or eight years ago by Rev, Evan and J, Fixer has worked to develop their own style of life inspired music influenced by bands such as Guns N Roses, Sound Garden and Jane’s Addiction.  Having a lot to say, the band writes content based on their lives and emotions.  Their music is “reflective” and “tentative to life” delivering a sound that is as memorable as the band’s name itself.

Since signing with Riker Hill Records a year ago, the band has release one album, Before the Sun.  While they have developed new music since the April 2008 release of Before the Sun, Fixer does not plan to record in a studio any time soon.

Fixer will continue to tour throughout the east coast visiting states ranging from Illinois to Florida.  Friday August 8 followed by a performance at Motorheads Bar and Grill in Michigan Center.
