Kanye West Sings About Himself at VMAs?

In what appeared to be an apology to Taylor Swift for his stage crashing incident last year, Kanye West debuted a new song “Runaway.” West rapped about “douchebags” and “scumbags.”

“You've been putting up with my s–– for way too long," he rapped.

"Let's have a toast for the douchebags. Let's have a toast for the a------s," West sang. "Let's have a toast for the scumbags. Let's have a toast for the jerk---s. Baby, I got a plan. Runaway fast as you can."

Earlier in the night, Swift also sang about last year’s incident. “It's all right, just wait and see. Your string of lights is still bright to me. You're still an innocent,” Swift sang in “Innocent.”
