Federal Agent Shot Outside Florida Post Office

A federal special agent has been listed in critical condition after being shot by a man just outside a Pembroke Pines post office in South Florida on Tuesday morning.

The shooting apparently took place after the agent and a middle-age man were engaged in an argument in the parking lot of the South Florida Mail Processing Center.

Authorities are still searching for the shooter who was seen leaving the scene in a dark-colored Chrysler 300.

The victim, a special agent for the High Intensity Drug Trafficking Task Force, was believed to be hit in the head.
