Adrian Rascu, aka The Godfather, Arrested in Spain

French fugitive Adrian Rascu, also known as “El Padrino” or “The Godfather,” was captured in Madrid, Spain on Friday. Rascu was taken into custody as he left a gym where he often met other organized crime groups. No other details on his arrest were released.

Rascu was accused of recruiting women from Romania to Paris under the premise of giving them a good job. He then forced the women into prostitution. Rascu fled France in 2005 after being sentenced to 10 years in prison on charges of sexual exploitation and human trafficking.
