John Edwards Deny Rumors of Affair, Love Child with Rielle Hunter

Sen. John Edwards continues to deny rumors that he is having an affair with Rielle Hunter and that the two have a love child together.

Two weeks ago, Edwards was reportedly spotted having with his alleged mistress Rielle Hunter. Hunter reportedly has Edwards' love child.

The National Enquirer reported that Edwards was seen with Hunter at the Beverly Hilton in Beverly Hills, California on July 21. A security guard for the Hilton confirmed Edwards' identity at the hotel.

Edwards attended a press event with Los Angeles Mayor Antonio Villaraigosa on July 21. Hunter had apparently driven to Los Angeles from Santa Barbara with a male friend to have a rendezvous with Edwards.

After months of investigation by the Enquirer on Edwards' affair, it was reported that Hunter and Edwards had secretly planned to meet after the mayor's event in order for Edwards to spend time with Hunter and their love child, whom Edwards has denied publicly.

The Enquirer broke the news of Edwards' love child scandal last year while Hunter was still pregnant and Edwards was still a strong candidate for the Democratic presidential nomination. Edwards denied the affair and love child with Hunter. Edwards' campaign Finance Director Andrew Young claimed that he was the father.

On Aug. 1, the Charlotte Observer published the birth certificate of the supposed love child, Frances Quinn Hunter. However, the certificate does not identify a father despite Young's claim.
