Quixote Corporation (NASDAQ:QUIX) to Release Q4 2008 Earnings August 13

Quixote Corporation (NASDAQ:QUIX) will release the fourth quarter earnings for 2008 on Wednesday, August 13.  The financial results is expected to be released at 10:00 am ET on the company’s website at quixotecorp.com.

Quixote Corporation, formerly Energy Absorption Systems, Inc., is engaged in developing, manufacturing and selling highway and transportation safety products to domestic and international markets.

As of July 2008, the Company operated in two segments: Protect and Direct segment, and Inform segment. The products are sold globally through a distribution network, as well as by a direct sales force, to customers in the highway construction and safety business, state and municipal departments of transportation and other governmental transportation agencies.

The products include energy-absorbing highway crash cushions, flexible post delineators, electronic wireless measuring and sensing devices, weather information systems, highway advisory radios (HAR), intelligent intersection control devices, and other highway and transportation safety devices. In July 2008, Signal Group, Inc. purchased the Intersection Control segment from Quixote Corporation.
