I'm guilty of sending bulk emails.
Like... a whoooooooole lot of bulk emails. Every day, sometimes many times a day, I find myself sending bulk emails out to hundreds of thousands of people.

sending bulk emails, and you may even have a project going that requires you to do so - so what I've got for you is a tip that could dramatically increase your results once you do.
Traditional email marketing best practices state that you should be sending bulk emails nice and early, or at a time when your readers are most likely to be sitting down in front of their computers to read email.
So, like most gullible schmucks, every day like clockwork I'd go through the process of sending bulk email out to all our lists around 8:00 - 9:00 AM eastern.
That was, until one day when everything went wrong.
It was one of those strings of bad luck that happens from time to time, and I couldn't get to my computer to go through my daily ritual of sending bulk emails until nearly midnight...
So naturally I assumed that nobody to speak of would read it, and that most of the people who did would be tired, and wouldn't even click on the link.
I was bummed...
Until the next morning when I discovered that it did WAY better than any other email I'd sent for weeks...
Lemmie tell you that Sending Bulk Emails is A Science.
Never assume that any aspect of that science is out of your control. You can discover, sometimes by accident, a way, or many ways to increase your response rate, get better sales, and generally see more success if you take the time to test things out and experiment. (Even if it's by accident).
In the mean time, try sending bulk emails out around midnight...
It's smart for two reasons that the regular sources won't tell you:
1) A LOT of people stay up late and surf the web - and while they do that they tend to have their email apps open.
2) Most people (including people who make money by sending bulk emails like me) tend to send their emails out during regular business hours - that means that from midnight to 8:00AM eastern at the earliest, most inboxes have no new mail in them.
When you're sending bulk emails out in that "dead zone" then you're on top of the inbox come morning when everyone checks their email!
You get the night owls and the early birds in one fell swoop... Not bad right?
