Andrea Pininfarina, Italian Car Designer, Killed in Road Accident

Andrea Pininfarina, chief executive officer of his family’s world famous car design firm Pininfarina SpA, was killed in a road accident on Thursday.

Pininfarina, 51, was died instantly after his Vespa scooter struck a Ford Fiesta near the Italian city of Turin.

Pininfarina SpA, founded in 1930, has designed several sports cars for Ferrari, Fiat, Maserati and Volvo.
