At Least Nine Dead after SUV Rolls in Florence, Arizona

At least nine people are reported dead and nine more injured following an accident in which the driver of an SUV lost control and rolled the vehicle along a stretch on State Route 79 near Florence, Arizona.

There has been no word as to what caused the SUV to veer off the road and then roll. When emergency workers arrived at the scene they found numerous fatalities inside the 1998 GMC SUV but managed to pull nine injured from the vehicle.

Those injured were being airlifted from the area.
