Gunman Shoots Doctor at Johns Hopkins Hospital in Baltimore

Baltimore police says a doctor at Johns Hopkins Hospital was shot this morning around 11. The gunman, who according to a nurse was upset about treatment his mother was receiving, has barricaded himself in a room on the eighth floor where the shooting occurred.

The doctor is reportedly in critical condition. Portions of the hospital have been placed on lockdown while others have been evacuated. SWAT, as well as police officers and firemen, are at the scene. Several roads near the hospital have been closed.
