Florida Man Threatening to Assassinate Barack Obama Arrested

A Florida man has been arrested after authorities discovered he had made threats to assassinate Democratic presidential candidate Barack Obama.

According to federal authorities Raymond Hunter Geisel made the threats while he was attending a training course for bail bondsmen. An individual in the class tipped authorities off to the threat and also mentioned that Geisel had made threats regarding President George Bush as well.

When agents searched Geisel’s SUV and hotel room they found a loaded handgun, several rounds of ammo, a bullet-proof vest and knives.

On Thursday Geisel was ordered held without bail. He has said he made no such threats to Obama or Bush.
