Club Employee Confesses to Ingrid Rivera Murder at Lil' Kim Birthday Party

A club employee confessed Thursday to the murder of a woman during a Lil' Kim birthday party in New York.

Ingrid Rivera, 24, was found dead in a utility closet on the roof of Times Square night club Spotlight Live in Manhattan, where rapper Lil' Kim held a star-studded birthday party on Sunday. Lil' Kim was never a suspect in the murder, which was announced publicly days after the party.

Rivera was last seen by friends after having an altercation with the club manager for being in the men's bathroom with alcohol. She was then handled and separated  from friendsby bouncers over her drinking and was forced out of the club. She was not seen again.

On Wednesday, she was identified by her mother, Ingrid Estrada who lives with her. Estrada, a single mother, filed a missing person report on Tuesday for her only child Ingrid Rivera, after she didn't return home after attending the birthday party on Sunday.

According to a pre-forensic examination, evidence showed blunt force trauma in Rivera's death.

Sayed Rahman, 24, an employee at Spotlight Live club, told investigators that he saw Rivera on the streets and targeted her because she appeared to be drunk.

Rahman told her that he could get her back in the club and lured her on the rooftop, where sources state that he allegedly tried to rob and rape her. Rahman struck Rivera in the back of the head and stuffed her body into the electrical room closet.

The party was attended by Busta Rhymes, Missy Elliot, Wyclef Jean, and LisaRaye McCoy-Misick, who received attention just by being at the party due to personal reasons.

McCoy-Misick's rep released a statement on Monday that her husband Michael Misick was cheating on her with BET VJ Rocsi. Reports pointed to LisaRaye's attendance at Lil' Kim's party as proof that her marriage was going downhill.
