Dick Cheney to Speak on Opening Night of Republican National Convention

Vice President Dick Cheney is scheduled to speak on the first night of next month’s Republican National Convention in St. Paul, Minnesota.  

Cheney will address the Republican delegates on Sept. 1, the same night as President Bush.

The Republican National Convention will run through Sept. 4, ending with the nomination of John McCain as the Republican presidential nominee.
