Toronto Explosion at Propane Plant Causes Mass Evacuations

An explosion at a Toronto propane gas plant has led to the evacuation of thousands of residents living in Keele and Wilson.

According to witnesses the early morning explosion at the Sunrise Propane Industrial Gases facility lit the sky aglow before everything turned black due to the smoke. Fortunately the massive blast did not cause any fatalities.

After battling the blaze for several house the firefighters are said to have contained the fire but it could still be some time before residents are allowed to return to their homes.
