The company posted load factor (percent of occupied seats on flight), of 85.8% - a decline of 2 points versus the same period last year. Traffic decreased 3.5% and capacity decreased 1.2% year-over-year. Domestic traffic decreased 5.3% year-over-year on 3% less capacity, while international traffic decreased by .2% relative to last year on a capacity increase of 2%. For the month of July, American boarded a total of 8.8 million passengers…”
