China TechFaith Wireless Comm Tech Ltd (NASDAQ:CNTF) to Hold Q2 2008 Earnings Conference Call August 18

China TechFaith (NASDAQ:CNTF)will hold a conference call on Monday, August 18 at 7:00 pm ET to discuss the second quarter earnings for 2008.  The call will be hosted by CEO Defu Dong, CFO Christopher Hobler, President at Chief Operation Officer Gilbert Lee and Gerrard Lobo of the Ruth Group Investor Relations.  A webcast of the presentation will be available on the company’s investor relations site at ir.techfiathwireless.com.

China Techfaith Wireless Communication Technology Limited (TechFaith) is an original developed product (ODP) provider focused on research and development of cell phone solutions based in China. The Company provides handset design services spanning the entire handset design cycle, which involves industrial design, hardware design, component selection and sourcing, prototype testing, pilot production and production support.

In January 2008, Techfaith announced the formation of TechFaith Tech-Interactive Limited, a wholly owned subsidiary focusing on the development and operation of wireless application and content. On March 31, 2007, the Company acquired an additional 30% interest in STEP Technologies.
