Reginae Carter, Daughter of Lil Wayne, Reportedly Killed in Car Accident

Reginae Carter, the daughter of rapper Lil' Wayne, reportedly died in a car accident on Sunday evening. Carter was eight years old.

According to reports, Carter, the daughter of Lil' Wayne, whose real name is Dwayne Carter, allegedly died in a traffic accident late Sunday evening.

However, the reports have not been confirmed by the rapper nor any of his representatives. There are hundreds of comments on Lil' Wayne's MySpace page as fans send their condolences, but there is one message that apparently came from Reginae's aunt that confirms that the report is false.

"I am pleased to inform you that this report is false," according to a post from a person who claims to be Reginae's aunt. "It is merely a rumor started by someone who obviously is miserable in their own skin that they would even have the notion to attack a child."

"Rest assured Reginae is tucked away in her bed at this very moment trying to get past the hurt this ugliness has caused her and our family," continued the poster.

Carter is the daughter of Lil' Wayne and his high school sweetheart, Antonia "Toya" Johnson. Johnson, who was briefly married at Lil' Wayne, gave birth to Carter when she was 14 years old. The two were married on Valentine's Day of 2004, but they divorced in 2006.
