Plane Crashes at Massachusetts Shopping Plaza, at least Three Dead

A small plane crashed at an Easton, Massachusetts shopping center on Tuesday killing at least three people, all believed to be aboard the single-engine plane.

According to witnesses, the plane crashed nose-first into the parking lot of Highlands Plaza but avoided hitting any cars. Witnesses said they heard a loud boom and then the plane broke into pieces.

The Mansfield Airport is located near the accident site and it was unclear if the plane was attempting to reach the airport or was taking off.
