Lebanon Rocked by Bus Bomb Blast, at least 14 Killed

The Lebanese city of Tripoli was rocked by a bus bomb Wednesday morning killing at least 14 people and injuring more than 30.

Among the dead were nine soldiers who had been traveling on the bus leaving the army to call the blast a terrorist act.

Lebanon’s President Michel Suleiman responded to the bombing, strongly condemning the act saying, “The army and security forces will not be terrorized by attacks and crimes that target it and civil society, and the history of the army attests to that.”
