At Least Three Dead in Bomb Blast at Pakistani Police Post
A Pakistani police post in Lahore was targeted by terrorists early Thursday and at least three people were killed and another nine injured after an explosive was detonated by what appeared to be a suicide bomber.
Pakistan celebrates its 61st year of independence on Thursday and the police officers targeted in the blast were on guard duty for the celebrations.
According to one officer on the scene the attack was triggered by a man who rode his motorcycle close to the post before detonating the bomb.
