everybodygreen.com Donates Popular No Plastic Bracelet to FashionCampNYC

When Phyllis Fein, program director of FashionCampNYC, called upon everybodygreen.com for an eco – friendly boost for her campers, for the August 4 – 8 session, Keith Berman, director of everybodygreen.com says, “It was music to my ears. Everybodygreen.com’s primary commitment is to our younger generations. It is for them that we all need to protect the environment.”

Everybodygreen.com donated their ever popular No Plastic Bracelets to FashionCampNYC for every registered camper. Mr. Berman states, “It is a tremendous thrill to know that these young future designers are being exposed to the virtually limitless eco – friendly fashion possibilities already available.  Many of the campers’ most inspirational designers are already implementing varied sustainable fabrics in their new collections.”

Mr. Berman spoke to the campers at length and was extremely impressed with their knowledge base. “These young adults have an astounding grasp of the world’s current state of affairs. These are not merely children with a limited perspective, solely focusing on fashion. They have an intense yearning to better the world around them. I was very excited to witness this first hand.”   

FashionCampNYC plans to expand its program next summer. Everybodygreen.com has extended an “open – invite” to all its campers to visit their offices. “I am genuinely looking forward to keeping the lines of communication open with the students. We have requested that they come to us with any green ideas, thoughts and questions. We will gladly post them on our website,” states Mr. Berman.

With an ultimate goal to donate $1,000,000 by the end of 2008, EverybodyGreen.com donates proceeds from each sale to a selection of non-profit organizations, including Oceana, Earth Resource Foundation, The Clean Water Fund, and Heal the Bay.
