Small Plane Lands on Atlanta Interstate During Rush Hour

A small aircraft safely made an emergency landing on Interstate 85 in Atlanta, Georgia on Monday during rush hour. The pilot, who has been identified as Matt Conway, was forced to make the landing after the plane experienced engine trouble.

Conway was the only person on board. Neither he nor anyone on the road was injured. Conway was headed to the Peachtree DeKalb Airport.

The plane, which is licensed to Saratoga Rental Options, landed northeast of downtown Atlanta near Shallowford Road. No other details were available.
