Reggie Bush's Leg Fractured

According to ESPN.com sources, New Orleans Saints running back Reggie Bush has a fractured fibula in his right leg. Bush had to leave the Saints' Monday night game against the San Francisco 49ers in the fourth quarter because of the injury. He took a hard hit while attempting to recover a loose ball. "Last second it kind of shifted a little bit, just enough for me to drop it," Bush said after the game. "I tried to recover it and somebody took my leg out. I don't know who it was, what happened or how it happened. I just know my leg got taken out. That's it." Bush tried to walk off the field with the assistance of trainers, but the pain was just too excruciating for Bush to handle. "It hurt like hell," he said. "When I got back up and tried to walk on it, it felt terrible. That's all I can say." Sources say that the injury is not expected to end Bush's season, but it could leave him resting for up to six weeks. To add insult to injury, this reported leg fracture comes just a week after Bush returned his Heisman Trophy amidst a controversy and scandal that had surrounded him for years. (Sources: ESPN.com)
