Brett Favre Makes Jets Debut as New York Faces Washington Redskins on Saturday

Brett Favre will line up under center on Saturday as the New York Jets face off against the Washington Redskins.

Favre who was traded by the Green Bay Packers to the Jets on Aug 6 did not play in his team’s 24-20 victory over the Cleveland Browns on Aug. 7. He has been getting plenty of repetitions with the starting squad and is expected to play several series in the Jets second game.

The three-time AP NFL MVP has practiced throughout the week but confessed his arm was feeling fatigued but promised to be ready.

Washington comes into Saturday’s game with a 2-0 record in the preseason having beaten the Indianapolis Colts and the Buffalo Bills.
