2008 Beijing Olympics Results: Usain Bolt Wins Gold in Men’s 100m in World Record Time
Usain Bolt is the world’s fastest man and on Saturday he proved it as the Jamaican flew to an Olympic and world record time of 9.69 in the men’s 100m at the 2008 Beijing Olympics.
The Caribbean was well represented in the 100m with Trinidad and Tobago’s Richard Thompson claiming silver in a time of 9.89.
American Walter Dix clocked a 9.91 to earn the bronze.
