2008 Beijing Olympics Results: China Takes Gold and Silver in Men’s Rings

China has had an epic run through the 2008 Beijing Olympics and that run continued on Monday as Chen Yibing captured gold in the men’s rings in gymnastics, adding to the gold he earned as part of China’s team gold won last week.

Chen scored an impressive 16.600 on the apparatus to secure the top score while his teammate Wei Yang nabbed the silver medal after scoring a 16.425 on the rings.

Ukraine’s Oleksandr Vorobiov claimed the bronze medal with a score of 16.325.
