2008 Beijing Olympics TV Schedule for Wednesday, August 20

The 2008 Summer Olympics began Aug. 8 in Beijing, China as the world's best athletes compete for a gold medal.

The TV schedule for the Olympics activities on Wednesday has been released. Usain Bolt, the world’s fastest man, looks to become the first person to win the 100m and 200m in the same Olympic Games as he participates in the 200m final. Coverage for the final begins at 8 p.m.

NBC’s 8 p.m. coverage will also feature the women’s 400m hurdles, women’s beach volleyball finals and the BMX finals.

On MSNBC, beginning at 2 a.m., the U.S. takes on Japan in baseball to determine the medal round for the gold medal.

Track and field, basketball, synchronized swimming, softball, freestyle wrestling and boxing are all on Wednesday’s schedule.

6-8 p.m. (OXYGEN) Synchronized swimming: duet final
