Sammy Gonzalez of Jacobs Ladder Can Be Heard in YourFindit Interview

Sammy Gonzalez of the rock band Jacobs Ladder took some time to speak with Rebecca Firth in an exclusive YourFindit interview.  The Florida based band has been together since 2001 and has since then developed their own brand of powerpop, progressive music inspired by the likes of At the Drive in, Incubus and Mars Volta.

Full of energy and a passion for their music, Jacobs Ladder first appeared on The Jamie Kennedy Experiment.  Since then, the band has had the privilege of performing with national acts such as Fall Out Boy and The Ataris, in addition to playing twice on the Warped Tour in addition to training with the Grammy Award winner Richard Finch of the KC & The Sunshine Band.

Signed with JMB Records, Jacobs Ladder has been on four tours and has released one album entitled Chariot of Fire (2007).  A new album is currently in preproduction.  The album is currently unnamed; however, Sammy has expressed hope at having the album released in March. 

Jacobs Ladder practices two to three times a week while maintaining a healthy schedule of shows.  Their next show will be at the Talent Farm in Pembroke Pines, Florida with Versa Emerge, Drive By, The Sneak Preview, Spinlight City and Amaranth.  The band is now contemplating whether to take a short or long tour within the upcoming months.  The tour will be their fifth.
