2008 Beijing Olympics TV Schedule for Saturday, August 23

The 2008 Summer Olympics began Aug. 8 in Beijing, China as the world's best athletes compete for a gold medal.

The TV schedule for the Olympics activities on Saturday has been released. The women’s basketball gold medal game will be broadcasted on NBC at 10 a.m., followed by boxing finals, synchronized swimming finals, canoeing finals and the women’s volleyball finals.

The baseball gold medal game will begin at 3 a.m. on CBUT in addition to a simulcast with NBC for the women’s volleyball finals.

The men’s basketball bronze medal game will be broadcasted at 9 p.m. on CBUT and CNBC.

NBC will continue its coverage at 7:30 p.m. with several track and field finals, such as the men's marathon, men’s 800, men’s 5000, men’s javelin, men’s 1600 relay, women's 1,500, women’s 1,600 relay, and the women’s high jump.

Track and field, basketball, canoe/kayak, diving and boxing are all on Saturday’s schedule.

5-7 a.m. (MSNBC) Men's table tennis: singles gold & bronze matches

6 a.m.-2 p.m. (TELEMUNDO) Baseball: gold medal game Track and field finals; Men's diving: platform; Boxing finals

10 a.m.-6 p.m. (NBC) Women's basketball: gold medal game; Synchronized swimming: team final; Canoeing: finals; Gymnastics: rhythmic individual final; Women's volleyball: gold medal match; Boxing finals

3-9 p.m. (CBUT) Track and field: men's marathon; Men's volleyball: bronze medal game; Gymnastics: rhythmic all-around final

6-7:30 p.m. (TELEMUNDO) Men's volleyball

7:30 p.m.-Midnight (NBC) Track and field finals: men's marathon; 800, 5,000, javelin, 1,600 relay, women's 1,500, 1,600 relay, high jump; Men's diving: platform final

9-11 p.m. (CNBC) Men's basketball: bronze medal game*

9 p.m.-3 a.m. (CBUT) Basketball: gold and bronze medal games; Men's volleyball: gold medal final

Midnight-1 a.m. (TELEMUNDO) Women's volleyball: gold medal match
