Faster Faster Pushes Their First Full Length Album Hopes and Dreams

Faster Faster, based in Brunswick, Georgia, is a catchy, pop, rock band.  Self described as “chick rock” the band draws its influences from The Beatles and Taking Back Sunday.  Vocalist Kyle Davis, guitarist and vocalist Randall Bowling and drummer Steuart Wainright took some time to speak with Rebecca Firth of YourFindit about the band, their music and their debut album Hopes and Dreams.

Officially started a year and a half ago Faster Faster wanted to do something different.  The band members were involved in various other projects, but quickly grew tired of playing hardcore, screamo music.  Guitarist Randal Bowling was introduced to the founders Kyle and Christian through a mutual friend and the band quickly formed after that. 

Christian recently resigned from the band for personal reasons.  He is replaced by Aaron who is still performing with the band on a trial basis.

Hopes and Dreams hit the stores August 12.  Intended to be a compilation of the band’s music, the band later realized they created a concept album that chronicled a “relationship thats kind of gone wrong.”  Hopes and Dreams is available at FYE, Target, Best Buy and select Hot Topic locations.
