Helena Bonham Carter Mourns the Loss of Relatives Killed in Bus Crash

Four relatives of actress Helena Bonham Carter were reportedly killed when the bus they were traveling in overturned near a game reserve in South Africa.

The 14-year-old son of Carter’s cousin, Fiona Bonham Carter, was killed as was his maternal grandmother, his stepfather and aunt. Fiona was on the bus as was her other son but both survived.

The group had been on Safari and were traveling on a road near the Welgevonden game reserve when the driver of the bus lost control and the vehicle overturned.

Helena Bonham Carter has starred with Johnny Depp in “Charlie and the Chocolate Factory,” and “Sweeney Todd,” and Brad Pitt and Edward Norton in “Fight Club.”
