Michelle Obama, the wife of Democratic presidential candidate Sen. Barack Obama, will give a speech at the 2008 Democratic National Convention on Monday.
Obama will address the audience at the DNC as she describes her background and her husband's qualifications to become the next President of the United States.
Obama will work to pull the women vote as many supporters of Sen. Hillary Clinton, Obama's rival, are upset that Barack selected Sen. Joe Biden (D-DE) as opposed to Clinton.
The 2008 Democratic National Convention will begin Monday at 3 p.m. at the Pepsi Center in Denver, Colorado. On Thursday, the DNC will move to Invesco Field at Mile High Stadium as Obama gives his highly-anticipated speech after he accepts the Democratic nomination.
The DNC is thrown every four years by the Democratic National Committee to nominate and confirm a candidate for President and Vice President, adopt a comprehensive party platform and unify the party.
