College football officially starts Thursday with several games on the schedule for its opening day.
#23 Wake Forest is the only ranked team to begin their season Thursday as they travel to take on Baylor at 8 p.m. N.C. State plays South Carolina at 8 p.m. on ESPN.
Oregon State begins their Pac-10 schedule against Stanford at 9 p.m. on ESPN2. Oregon State defeated Stanford last season 23-6.
Miami will begin their season against Charleston Southern despite having seven players, including their starting quarterback Robert Marve, suspended for their debut game at Dolphins Stadium.
