James Heselden, the owner of the Segway company, died on Sunday after apparently riding a Segway off a cliff accidentally. According to police reports, the body of the 62-year-old was pulled from the River Wharfe in Yorkshire, England. According to People.com, the police report says that a "a Segway-like vehicle was also recovered at the scene." British newspaper The Telegraph reports that Heselden's body was found by a passerby after apparently having fallen from a cliff above the river. Despite the strangeness - and perhaps irony - of the incident, police do not believe the death to be suspicious. Heselden, who was worth about 166 million pounds, was an accomplished businessman who bought the Segway company from Segway inventor Dean Kamen earlier this year. He was respected by the community for his charity work. (Sources: People.com, The Telegraph).
