UFC Hall of Famer, Randy Couture the Special Guest on New Episode of Dave Navarro's Spread TV

On an all new maniaTV.com episode of Dave Navarro's Spread TV, Dave and Todd get the chance to sit down with three-time UFC Heavyweight Champion Randy Couture to discuss his new role in the highly anticipated made for DVD prequel, The Scorpion King: Rise of a Warrior. Couture, a UFC Hall of Famer who is considered by many as one of the most popular fighters in Mixed Martial Arts history, plays an evil ruler named Sargon who acquires black magical powers. Couture, who has most recently been featured in Sony Pictures Classics, Redbelt, alongside Tim Allen ("Home Improvement") and Rodrigo Santoro ("300"), was described by the film's director, Russel Mulcahy, as "a gentle giant who is wonderful to work with". The Scorpion King: Rise of a Warrior is set for release on August 19, 2008.

Randy "Natural" Duane Couture (born June 22, 1963) is an American mixed martial artist, Greco-Roman wrestler, and former collegiate wrestler. Couture is one of only two MMA fighters to have held a championship title in two different divisions (heavyweight and light heavyweight) while in the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) (the other one being BJ Penn), as well as the only five-time champion in UFC history, earning him the nicknames "The Natural" and, later, "Captain America".
