Casey Anthony Could Have Bond Revoked, May Be Heading Back to Jail

Casey Anthony, the mother of missing 3-year-old Caylee Anthony, has been out of jail for less than a week but could be heading back soon if the bondsman that sprung her opts to revoke the $500,000 put down for her release.

Speaking to CNN’s Nancy Grace on Wednesday night California bounty hunter Leonard Padilla was asked about the likelihood of Anthony returning to jail and he responded by saying that while the decision was not his to make he wouldn’t be surprised if his nephew made the call.

Padilla’s nephew, Tony Padilla, was the bondsman that posted the bond for Casey Anthony with the belief the 22-year-old would help investigators in the search for her daughter but that has not happened. Leonard Padilla has been quoted as saying, “Maybe we got duped a little bit. Maybe we overestimated her.”

Asked if he regretted the decision to bond Casey out Leonard admitted it was a mistake and that had they had it to do again they wouldn’t have become involved.
