TinBu Extends Patent Filings Into Foreign Countries

Company has extended their patent filings related to their interactive content platform with integrated advertising into Canada, Mexico, Argentina, Brazil, China, Korea, Japan, and the EU.

TinBu, a Pensacola, Florida based technology company, has filed the necessary international applications to extend their original U.S. patent applications into selected European, Asian, and Latin American countries.  TinBu uses patent-pending technology to build interactive content channels that are in use with 1000's of web sites around the world.  Their technology allows them to integrate online search and targeted advertising packages into their content platform.

"TinBu's core strength is our technology," said John Brier, TinBu's CEO. "We have invested a substantial amount of capital into our intellectual property as we believe it is of great value to the company.  As our technology platform is allowing us to grow our business both in the U.S. and internationally, extending our patent-filings into the international community was a logical step," added Brier.

TinBu's intellectual property matters are handled by the international law firm Greenburg Traurig, with the Boston office of Greenburg Traurig serving as the principle location.  TinBu's technology has allowed the company to build out interactive content channels in the areas of lottery data, weather, horoscopes, stocks/finance, recipes, U.S. gas prices, MPG Analysis, swimsuit models, fitness videos, international soccer, U.S. mortgage rates, North American flight tracking, and celebrity entertainment.  Additional content channels in the areas of online games, box office entertainment, Yellow Pages, sports scores/odds, mixed drink videos, restaurant guides, and other areas are currently in development.  Each interactive content module is designed to drive measurable amounts of increased  page views, repeat user sessions, time on site, customer satisfaction, and revenue generation for web sites using TinBu's content platform.

TinBu has formed strategic partnerships with Yahoo!, Lycos, Advertising.com, and other online advertising companies.  These partnerships have allowed for TinBu's interactive content channels to come bundled with targeted advertising integrated into the content that drives revenues for web sites using the content. TinBu's interactive content modules currently drive multiple millions of page views and advertising impressions every month.

"We are seeing substantial growth of our online marketing partners in the U.S., Canada, and most recently Latin America.  In Europe we are expanding into the German and French markets, and plan on expanding into the rest of the EU, as well as Asia, in 2009. Our technology and online advertising network has the ability to grow substantially in markets outside of the U.S. in the short-term and long-term future, and we are pleased to have extended our patent applications into Asia, The EU, Latin America, and Canada," added Brier.
