Stocks Move Higher on Strong GDP report
Stocks extended their advance in early trading Thursday following a better-than-expected reading on the nation's economy and a drop in jobless claims.

Bonds fell. The yield on the benchmark 10-year Treasury note, which moves opposite its price, rose to 3.81 percent from 3.77 percent late Wednesday. The dollar was mixed against other major currencies, while gold prices rose.
