"Sister Wives" Cast May Face Felony Charges

The polygamous family featured on the TLC reality show "Sister Wives" is being investigated by the state of Utah and may soon face felony bigamy charges. The Utah family featured on the hit show consists of 42-year-old Kody Brown, his three wives, a prospective fourth wife, and their sixteen children. The family, who have definitely put their lives out for public scrutiny, are now being investigated for felony bigamy, which is a third-degree felony in the state of Utah. TMZ received a statement from the Brown family, which reads, "We are disappointed in the announcement of an investigation, but when we decided to do this show, we knew there would be risks. But for the sake of our family, and most importantly, our kids, we felt it was a risk worth taking." Lt. Darren Paul says, "At the conclusion of the investigation, the evidence will be forwarded to the Utah County Attorney's Office for review and possible prosecution." (Sources: E! Online, People.com)
