ESPN and its family of networks will begin its high school football TV coverage on Friday as Mays (
The Mays-Carver HS game will be the first of three games that will broadcasted on ESPN over Labor Day Weekend.
ESPN released its full high school TV schedule recently, broadcasting some of the nation's top HS teams and players throughout the year.
Two of USA Today's top 10 HS teams will battle during the season as #4 Don Bosco Prep (Ramsey, NJ) travels to face #7 De La Salle (Concord, CA) on Sept. 27 on ESPNU.
#1 ranked Byrnes (S.C.), #8 Armwood (Seffner, FL), #10 Brentwood Academy (Brentwood, TN), #11 Rockhurst (Kansas City, MO), #13 Lowndes (Valdosta, GA), #14 Madison County (Madison, FL), and #21 South Panola (Batesville, MS) will all be featured on the TV schedule this season.
Matt Barkley, the nation's top-ranked player, and his Mater Dei (Santa Ana, CA) squad will also play on ESPN this season, as well as Good Counsel (MD) and Jelani Jenkins, the nation's top-ranked linebacker.
